Calling hours and visitation will be on Friday January 16th, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in John Mahoney Gymnasium at Sts. John & Paul High School. The address for the school is 541 West 34th Street in Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.

The funeral service will be at Assumption Church on Saturday January 17th beginning at 11:00 a.m. The address for Assumption Church is 594 West Main Street in Geneva, Ohio 44041.

Jessica, her family and John's family cannot thank all of you enough for your overwhelming support for them in this most difficult time. Your words of encouragement and kindness to John are helping ease their pain. We hope to give John and his family everything they deserve as we honor his life and the lives he touched this Friday and Saturday. We hope to see you there and hear your stories.

As we get closer to the weekend, if there is any other information you may need, we will pass it along to you.

I met John several years ago. I helped rehab his shoulder. If I remember correctly, it was his shoulder. I didn't know John that well, but my cousin played football for him at the time. And I followed him in the paper on many of his coaching accomplishments. And I've followed his story since. One thing I do remember is how much fun I had when he came in for his P.T. We would talk about sports; local, college, pro. And I DO remember how genuinely nice of person he was. I was sad to hear of his passing. The community has lost a genuine man, but gained a guardian angel. GOD BLESS YOU JOHN!

Buzz always made me feel safe and welcome at Gettysburg... as he took me under his wing and treated me like a little sister and a friend. He is a amazing person who truly has touched and made a positive impact on the lives of everyone he's met. I am grateful that I am lucky enough to be one of those people. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
